40 Days for Life Fall Campaign Begins September 23!

Join others in praying for an end to abortion during 40 Days for Life this fall in the Diocese of Venice, September 23 – November 1, 2026. 40 Days for Life is an international 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and peaceful all-day vigils in front of abortion businesses. Campaigns are held in the spring and in the fall. In the Diocese of Venice, 40 Days for Life campaigns are held in three locations: Sarasota, Fort Myers, and Naples.
The 40 Days for Life campaign brings together people of faith from all walks of life who share a commitment to protecting human life through peaceful prayer and public witness. As another campaign begins, organizers extend an invitation to Catholics and all people of goodwill to participate, regardless of experience. Whether joining a kickoff rally, praying outside a local abortion facility, or offering prayers from home, every participant becomes part of a larger effort to build a culture of life.
Since 40 Days for Life began, 26,546 mothers have chosen life for their children; 279 abortion workers have quit their jobs; and 187 abortion centers where 40 Days for Life vigils have been held have gone out of business.

Fort Myers: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday, 6418 Commerce Park Drive
Sarasota: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Seven days a week, 736 Central Avenue
Naples: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday, 1425 Creech Road
